Eric Swan – an ingenious con artist who has been deceiving the Social Security system for years!

Linda Swan – Eric’s wife.  Smart, yet concerned her husband is troubled.

Norman McDonald – the upstairs tenant.  An awkward, blundering introvert with a bad cold.

Mr. Jenkins – a middle-aged council employee who is probably less intelligent than he thinks he is.

Uncle George – Eric’s uncle.  A chirpy older man.

Sally Chessington – a young welfare worker.

Doctor Chapman – a ‘first-day-on-the-job’ marriage guidance councilor.

Mr. Forbright – an undertaker who wears a dark suit.

Ms. Cowper – a severe looking Department of Social Security inspector.

Miss Dixon – Norman’s fiancé.  A sweet ‘girl-next-door’ fiancé.

This fast paced British farce concerns a con artist who has duped the welfare authorities for years by claiming every type of benefit for the innumerable people he claims live at his address. He's sent scrambling when welfare investigators show up and he is forced to prove all of his boarders are in fact real. A hilarious comedy full of mistaken identities, slamming doors, and a con that spirals out of control!
