Jason Bartosic– A recent transplant from his hometown of Ocala, Florida to Pocatello, Idaho, he studied voice and musical theatre at Ashland University in Ohio, and afterwards, quickly fell into the orchestra pit where he enjoyed a nine-year residency as musical director at the Ocala Civic Theatre. While there, he created with directorial and production talent hailing from Los Angeles to New York City. Jason is currently the musical director for ArtsQuest Theatricals, and has collaborated on two new musicals, Cowpokes And Petticoats, which had it’s Idaho premier in summer 2013, and David And The Giant, which premiered in 2014 at the Moorlyn Family Theatre in Ocean City, New Jersey. His most recent projects include music directing Les Miserables, A Christmas Story, and Mary Poppins at the Palace Playhouse in Pocatello, and directing sold-out runs of Terrance McNally's Corpus Christi, and John Cariani's Almost, Maine at the Old Town Actors Studio, for which he also serves on the Board of Directors. When not directing, rehearsing, or writing, Jason enjoys hiking, micro-breweries, and being the organist for Trinity Episcopal Church in Pocatello.
Meet Our 2018 Staff
Linda Larsen– Linda has been dancing and performing her entire life. She trained in Los Angeles with Joe Tremaine, Larry Rosenberg, Tony Coppola, and Doug Caldwell. After dancing professionally for several years she returned to her home state to study Communications at Idaho State University and worked as a news anchor until her three children were born. She is the owner and director of Sunrise Dance Academy and currently works as a choreographer at Dixie State University in Southern Utah and The Palace Playhouse in Pocatello. Linda also spends time working as a talent scout for Stars Talent Studio. Linda has traveled all over the world as a professional performer and has taught master classes in dance musical theater and acting. Linda is thrilled to be back this year as one of the teachers for the summer theater camp and is looking forward to another great year working with kids.
Cost includes two tickets to the show, costuming, a goodie bag, t-shirt, and water every day. Students will provide their own daily lunches.

Brandt Hurley–A Pocatello native, Brandt gained a love for theater after being in his first production, That Madcap Moon, at the age of ten. He went on to get a Theater Education degree from Brigham Young University Idaho. Since graduating he has been active in the theater community by performing in and assisting with numerous productions at Old Town Actors Studio, The Westside Players and The Palace Playhouse. To satisfy his funny bone he performs improvisational comedy each week as a member of the improv troupe, The Comedy Project. This will be Brandt’s second year as an acting coach for the summer camp, and he is excited to apply what he learned last year to make this a fantastic experience for the kids.
